How does it work?

Four steps. Thought: you write, speak, paste, or share a photo of whatever’s on your mind. Song: aiponge composes a personalized song from your own words. Memory: you keep the song and organize it into collections, playlists, albums, and life chapters. Rediscovery: you revisit it whenever it matters — to cherish, share, or let go.

Is aiponge grounded in research?

The approach is informed by a few consistent findings in the literature on music, emotional memory, and reflective practice: music activates the brain’s reward pathways (Ferreri et al., PNAS, 2019); listening to music can lower stress and anxiety (de Witte et al., Health Psychology Review, 2020); music engages neural networks tied to emotion and memory, especially when it’s personally meaningful (Zaatar et al., Brain Behavior & Immunity, 2024). aiponge does not claim to rewrite identity, heal trauma, or treat mental health conditions. it helps you keep what matters to you as music — the meaning is yours.

Is aiponge an AI music generator?

aiponge uses AI to create music, but it is not just a music generator. it helps you preserve personal meaning as songs — thoughts, memories, and moments you can keep, organize, and revisit over time.

Does aiponge only validate me?

No. aiponge can gently challenge a limiting belief, surface a perspective you’ve been avoiding, or sit with you in a loop you’re caught in. you can ask it to confirm what you wrote, or ask it for the opposite — both are valid moves. you stay the final authority over your own story.

Can therapists or coaches recommend aiponge to clients?

Yes. aiponge is designed to support, not replace, the therapeutic relationship — a between-session companion that helps clients keep important insights emotionally alive through personalized songs, structured reflection, and gentle prompts. the work and the relationship still belong to the client and the practitioner.

What languages does aiponge support?

Eight: English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese, and Hindi. write and listen in whichever feels most like you.

Is aiponge free?

aiponge has a free tier with the core experience. paid tiers (Personal and Pro) unlock more songs per month and a larger shared library.

What kind of music does aiponge make?

Songs — with lyrics — made from the words you wrote. not ambient loops, not meditation tracks. each song is composed once, for you, and the shape of your words shapes the song. it’s a song you keep as a memory, not a background track you play and forget.

Who is aiponge for?

How is aiponge different from a meditation app?

Meditation apps are about winding down and paying attention to your breath. aiponge is about writing a few words and hearing them as a song. they’re different things — aiponge doesn’t replace a meditation app, and it’s not trying to.

How is aiponge different from Spotify?

Spotify is for listening to music other people made. aiponge is for turning a few of your own words into a song. different tools — most people will keep using both.

How is aiponge different from Calm or Headspace?

Calm and Headspace are for meditation and winding down — guided sessions, ambient sounds. aiponge is a creative companion that turns what you wrote into a song with lyrics. different shape of app.

Is aiponge a therapy app?

No. aiponge is not a medical or therapy product. it is a personal reflection and musical memory tool. it can support self-understanding, but it does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional care. if you’re going through something hard and need real support, please reach out to someone trained to help.
